This is an absolutely amazing and very rare, early hand made piece from Nina Ricci that is strikingly beautiful and a testament to the hand work that was being produced in this time period. Beyond amazing and literally breathtaking. The palette is a nude with soft pops of gold and pale tawny pinks. The shape is wonderful an inner shift dress with an A line cut is covered with an outer fine silk net layer that is unlined through the upper bodice and shoulders giving it a subtle sexiness. The entire over lay is covered in a little deconstructed patches of gold lame with flat gold embellishments, beads and sequins hand sewn to cover every inch. The neckline and upper shoulders are detailed with rows of tightly spaced bead work. It is a beautiful and rare garment that is completely and utterly museum worthy.
