It is made from a fabulous pink brocade that has a gold thread worked through the pattern that runs top to bottom. This allows the dress to have a subtle sheen and the combination of the pink and gold is mesmerizing. The bodice is very unusual it is a high cut squared off panel with high cut corners that sit off the sides a touch. Two wide straps are set under this and curve around and down the back. The back is otherwise left completely bare. I love that even though the front is so squared off the sides curve around the body to meet at the low back. This keeps it feeling very feminine. The skirt is cut to curve around the hips and then widens out on a gentle curve to just above the floor. This one has a deep 8" hem inside so you could easily make it as long as you preferred.
