Tests and treatments for a healthy heart

If you have been experiencing symptoms like shortness of breath, heart palpitations or chest pain, this could indicate a problem with your heart. We know these symptoms can be worrying, so rest assured you will be able to see a doctor quickly at Avicenna.

It is recommended to have regular cardiovascular health check-ups if you are over the age of 45 or have a family history of heart conditions.

We can perform ECG tests at our clinic in Woodford Green, Essex. If you need other investigations such as an ultrasound or CT scan these will be done at a local hospital.

Dr Sattar is an accredited GP with a special interest in cardiology and all our GPs are experienced at managing heart issues. So if you have concerns about your heart, please don’t hesitate to contact us and we can start giving you the care you need.
